Personal Information Protection Policy

SACOS NET AUCTION Secretariat recognizes the importance of protecting personal information and will implement the following policy in accordance with applicable privacy laws and regulations.

1. We will comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and other standards relating to the handling of personal information and appoint a Personal Information Manager to ensure appropriate management.
2. We will establish internal regulations for the protection of personal information and provide education and guidance to all officers and employees to prevent unauthorized access, loss, destruction, alteration, or leakage of personal information.
3. We will clearly identify the purpose of collecting personal information and collect such information only with the consent of the individual concerned.
4. We will appropriately manage personal information and will not use or disclose it beyond the scope of the individual's consent, except where required by law or where necessary to protect the life, body, or property of an individual, or where otherwise required in the public interest.
5. When outsourcing operations involving personal information, we will select service providers that appropriately handle personal information and will enter into agreements requiring proper management, confidentiality obligations, restrictions on re-disclosure, and other necessary measures.
6. Upon request from the individual concerned, we will promptly disclose personal information held by us. We will also promptly correct, add to, or delete personal information when a legitimate request is made.
7. We will continually review and improve our policies and practices regarding the protection of personal information.
